It's not really the not having the room. Like the other ladies, I feel awkward asking my friends to buy things or having them feel that they need to if they come. Plus I'm not really the hostess type.

You name it, and I probably have a friend that sells it! I've already had so many parties for just about everything to help people out... my friends and family don't want to come anymore because they've been there and done that. I think it's come down to 'sales party overload' for me, so I'll go if people invite me, but I won't be hosting any for a long, long time.

I don't host cause I don't know anyone that would have time to come to a party on weeknights. It seems people are busy every night of the week, weekends are packed and what else is there?? My suggestion do a party during a lunch hour in a lobby hour or conference room if an office building. People will be there. I've seen a book sale at my local YMCA.

Because it is all over priced and is an INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE situation for both sides. When I am invited I feel AWFUL to say no bu I can't afford anything. So I end up going and making a purchase I can't afford. So I would never be the one to hostess something like that. Plus I have no friends. Would much rather shop alone and online for products like these.
