Ok ladies, to have a picture for your avatar you need to use a photo hosting site such as Photobucket. Have your photo on that site and copy the "direct link" code. Paste that in your profile avatar section. Once that is saved you can go back and play with the height and width. They will automatically be set to 65 for both. My pic, for example, is now set at 65 width and 85 height. Play around with them and find what you like. Best of luck! =D

I thought that's where I was getting my picture, when I put a picture up on my blog, it goes into a picture hosting place. When I click on the picture, it comes up as just the picture from the hosting area. When I try to copy the picture url from there to here, it doesn't show up here. Do I simply need to join another picture hosting site to be able to get my pictures here? You'd think it would work from the host site that my blog uses?

Are there different codes you can copy Cake? I've found that to be a problem, people use the wrong code...

Yeah, I don't think that will work. I know with Photobucket when you click on the picture you want (or when you just hover over the picture) you get a dropdown with various codes. You need to use the "direct link" code for an avatar pic to show. You can use the "IMG" code to post directly in your reply, though the pic will be HUGE!

Ok, now I'm trying to create a photobucket account, but I don't see the upload from computer link. It's trying to force me to upload from a mobile phone. There are no pics on my phone, the ones I want are on my computer. What in the heck did I do wrong?

Looking at it... and yes I should just go back to bed.... I seem to be mobile linked. I'm not sure how that happened as I'm on a desktop computer. I put in a question for them. Let's see what their answer is.
