STORM Comin'!!!

Yay for the snow!!! And Booooo ... (I have a fun project on Wednesday that I'm worried will get cancelled.) As you can see, I'm feeling mixed about the snow in the forecast. Here's the latest from Channel 5 (as of noon on Monday):

Snow will develop during the day tomorrow, some will be heavy at times.
- There is a chance some sleet mixes in as warmer air aloft tries to wrap into the storm.
- Heavy snow Tuesday night into Wednesday morning but more sleet is now expected.
- If we stay in an "all" snow scenario, 8 - 12" of snow is possible in the Metro.
- If we we mix to sleet, totals could be lower, 3 - 6" in the Metro. This is looking more likely.
- Blizzard conditions for central Minnesota with a foot or more of snow possible from Montevideo, Alexandria to Hinckley.
- Expect school closings Wednesday with many road closures.

Yet another storm is possible Friday so, yes a busy week!!

It's funny because the low end -- three inches is NOTHIN' !! But TWELVE inches, wooo hooooo!!! That's enough for snow shoeing, hooray!!!!!

It'll be interesting to see what the forecasters predict as the storm gets closer to us.

I should go see if I can find some boots on clearance. I was going to buy boots this winter but it never snowed and I never got any boots......Hoping DH has a snow day!

I feel bad because my mom is driving into town ( 2 hour drive ) to help watch my kids and if we get a foot of snow, she'll have come down for nothing because I'm sure my video shoot will be cancelled. But if we get three inches, that's not enough for canceling I would think. MAN I love snow and have been missing it, but I just wish it would start on Thursday. But beggars can't be choosers! And Mother Nature shall do what she shall do .... Gotta just enjoy whatever comes I guess!!

And HOORAY for sledding, snow shoeing, building snow forts and snow men .... HAH! I'm so excited for and wary of this storm at the same time!

I was just at Walmart and all their boots are on clearance!

I'm excited except for the fact that our snowblower is broken.

I hope it's all or nothing... either we get dumped on or don't get too much. I have a dr appt on Thursday that I HAVE to go to, so I hope the roads are ok by then.

I really hope we get dumped on....I wouldn't mind it. I will have to go out tomorrow morning and see what deals I can find....I should have done it yesterday when I was out shopping but I didn't even think about it!

Lil, do you have a friendly neighbor whose snowblower you could borrow? That's the way to go!

Serious workout -- My friend shoveled her driveway after the last little snow we had -- she wore her heart monitor out of curiousity and it said she burned 600 calories!!

I am NOT excited about the snow - but can't really complain. This winter has been great for commuting to work and I know my DDs will be excited to sled down the hill in our front yard. It will be pretty, but just a traffic mess on Wednesday for coming in to work.

I have an appointment to get my taxes done Wednesday morning I hope it doesn't get canceled!
