talk about colds...i feel like i haven't stopped blowing my nose or sneezing for a week!
other than that. doin good. baby is getting big. we find out in a week and a half what we're having.
I've been having a LOT of headaches lately. I was actually in the ER last week for them...it was to the point where I just couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. All they did was put an IV in with some benedryl and Morphine believe it or not, and tell me to take Advil at home. They haven't stopped. Luckily I have an appt. with my OB this week so I'll have some time to talk to her about it.
I've also been having a lot of almost black-out spells. Anyone else experience this when you were preggars....your vision starting to go to the point where you almost black out? I have to sit down in one of my episodes or I will and I'll just fall. I had it with DD...but I don't remember it being this bad.
Anyway...wow...long update. Hope all the other mama's are hangin in there!

I've been feeling better.. was able to eat just in time for Easter dinner!! I had been admitted to the hospital for about two and a half days.. I was on a 24 hour fluid IV with intermittent drips for potassium. The lab came back with a positive result for Cryptosporidium, which my family contracted while at the waterpark in Duluth, and I was put into isolation except for my doctors and my husband. I have been put on a six medication regime for the time being and have learned that it wouldnt take much for me to become dehydrated again... I went two hours the other day w/o a drink and almost fell over lol greatfully this illness of mine has not effected the baby even a little bit... as I continue to lose weight (at a 35lb weight loss) baby continues to gain! lol Right now though, other than a sore throat and a runny nose, I'm doing fine... baby is fine and my family has since recovered from the crypto symptoms!! I swear.. this is the last one.

I've had the headaches and the blacking out feeling... doc said they were from chronic dehydration.. that even if a pregnant woman thinks they are drinking enough, they probably aren't... especially with those symptoms. I started drinking lots of water and ice tea with real sugar and it got rid of the headaches and the dizzyness and everything.
as for me.. I'm tryinggggg I swear.
Hellings... congrats! how far along are you?

Hey ladies!! I'm feeling pretty good overall. I'm at 30 weeks now and counting down! Natalie's walls are painted, though we are redoing the design as we just aren't super happy with it. I've been feeling pretty sick again the last week on and off. Morning/ all day sickness is back for third trimester it seems, but is no where near as bad as it was before! For that I am grateful! We have a checkup tomorrow as well! Amy- my dr said to drink a mountain dew when a bad headache hits or I get dizzy. Something with the sugar and all really helps! Sarah- keep getting better! You must not even have a bump with how sick you are huh?! Keeping both of you in my prayers

Any of you ladies found any good deals on maternity clothes? I got a couple of dresses from Target, but I'm having a hard time finding other dresses and tanktops that look good and fit right... I think I mustve tried on every tanktop at Motherhood and walked out with nothing. The only ones I've been wearing are the standard ribbed tanks but wanted to find something with a little more... pizzazz maybe? :-)

Hello! Glad everyone is doing okay. I'm still pregnant... 4 days over my due date. I had a doctor appt yesterday and I'm at 5 cm and 80% and baby is at +1 station. I'm still feeling pretty good for the most part, just exhausted and ready to be done.
We have an induction scheduled for tomorrow morning....
... and DH COMES HOME TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! He will be home for good.... the day I've been waiting for for over a year is finally here!!!! It's so surreal still, I am completely unprepared!
