I don't really trust that Gerber savings program!

My dh is a finance guy and assured me its safe.. my parents took a life insurance policy out for me when I was two and it was just put into my name...I'm not gonna cash it out but let it grow which essentially is what gerber would be.

Isis- I like the "teach at a university" idea....maybe I could look into that after my Master's....some of my instructors have only had their Master's and not PhD's....you never know!

Mike only has his masters.. his MBA and he'll have his CPA as well by then... he's already qualified to teach a college level business and certain math courses! And from what I'm hearing from my little birdies in Fl... they are dying for Northerners to come down and teach!

Isis, my DH also has MBA and is prepping to take his CPA Dara, I think you would have no problems finding a teaching position with Master's degree, especially if you have a lot of valuable experience in your field.

HAHA I don't even have a savings account, DH is a seasonal worker, and I have my own school loans to pay for. We haven't even started putting money in a 401k yet so the boys are kinda on their own. I hate that that is the reality but it is. I just hope they work hard and are able to get scholarships, especially if they want to go to a 4 year college.

We have a college fund for DS. I want him to go to college and I don't want him to have to work through college, or have to start out his working life with a ton of debt.
