Where can you get a free smash cake for your child's 1st birthday? Do you need to order another cake too? Thank you

We got one from Byerlys. You just need a birth cert. That is the only cake we got from there. So no you don't need to get the other cake from there.

Yup what Katie said. When I went they didn't even ask for the certificate.

Thanks! Anyone know of any other stores besides Byerly's? Not to many of them close by me!

why don't you just bake your own? just buy a mix and a frosting. When I make smash cakes they are usually either just mini versions of the cake I made for my customer or I make a simple round cake with frosting only. Or you can make/buy a large cupcake.

I bought a mini cake at cub for Pres.. it wasn't expensive. I've also seen... At sams club, a smash cake with a bunch of cupcakes around it... so smash cake for baby, and cupcakes for everyone else.. I wish I had known that when P turned 1

Well I'm making a cake for her party and I really don't want to make one for her to smash for professional pix I am having done. Since the pix aren't going to be too close to her party I wanted to get a free one. Also I like the look of a store bought one vs a homemade one. Thanks anyways!

Aha. I see. An oversized cupcake would be cute for pictures.
