I am asking for prayers for my 4yr old daughter. Last night she complained of some hip pain but wasn't making a real big deal out of it. By the time she woke up this morning she couldn't move her leg and can't bear any weight on it. We took her to the doctor and they did x-rays and also took blood. No fractures and blood looks ok at this time but we are waiting for one more test to come back .If t hings aren't better by Monday she needs to come back in and have more blood work done because there is a chance it could be something more serious and that the blood they took wouldn't show it yet since the symptoms just started. Please pray that it is healed over the weekend. It is hard as a parent to not be able to fix it and seeing her in so much pain is so hard to see. I can't imagine having to put her through again what she had to do today. Thanks

She is 4. They had to draw blood today and had to have people hold her down. That was really traumatic for her. I can't imagine what parents of children with cancer have to go through. I was fighting back tears just holding her down since she was screaming.

*****Kadyn Update**** This morning she is able to move her leg. She says it is still a little sore but she is able to walk now (limps) and move it. Thank God! Thanks for all the prayers. I used to have horrible growing pains when I was a kid and I am pretty positive that is not what this was. She was fine when she was sitting still but the minute she would try to move her leg she would scream and start crying. Same would happen if her leg was bumped. She told me it felt like it was popped out. That is why I originally thought it was dislocated (x-rays showed it wasn't) The doctor did say it could be that her joint was inflamed and if that was the case it should be better by tomorrow. Hoping she continues to get better and is at 100% by tomorrow. We are just really thankful she is moving it today.

Thankful she is doing better today.
One thing I meant to say last night when I first saw this last night was that when my brother was her age he had extreme leg pain that came on suddenly and could barely walk, my parents took him to the doctor and they ran a bunch of tests which came back with no information. A few days later they ran into the neighbor who mentioned how much fun my brother had with her son playing Nintendo game pad all day the previous Sat. So it turned out that his pain, stiffness and soreness was from playing that game (we didn't have it at our house). Just for you to think about any out of the ordinary exercise that might have caused the pain, you never know with 4 year olds!
