My dh had an interview last night. He really really wants this job. It is pretty much what he is doing right now except it is somewhere different. His job is good, but they have been laying off ppl for the last 6 months or more. He had an interview last night like I said. He said if he wants it it is basically his. He is pretty gitty. He was so excited he only slept 4 hours last night. He said the only problem was the hrs. are: 8-5. I was like oh well. He said the only thing was: how much do you want for $, PTO, vacation, etc. Small company, family feel of the place. Same distance, but no freeway driving, no over the river driving.
He complains about his job, one guy at his job lots so I just want him to be happy again w/ his job life again.
Can you pray for my dh? Thanks.

The place he interviewed said just come up w/ a figure for pay & benefits cost together. He has 2 amounts. One of the amounts is the one he won't go any lower of. So I hope the place says sure of the #.

Aim higher. You can't go up but you can alway go down.

Hi Jodi,
I agree with LC! Can always go lower, not higher.
Aim high, and they will probably settle somewhere in between.

CONGRATUATIONS TO YOUR DH FOR HIS NEW JOB!!!!!! Was he able to negotiate with the new job for higher compensation/pay/benefits or at least meeting somewhere in the middle? I'm happy to hear that he's excited about getting this new job!!!
