Hi ladies. As some of you may know, I've decided to go back to school. I finally decided what I want to do, and registered for classes that start in January. What did I go back for? I'm going back for Psychology. And I am SOOOOOO EXCITED! My classes are all online which is going to be a big relief. Let me go at my own pace. The best part of it all, I got my transcripts from my Associates degree back yesterday. I honestly was not expecting many of my credits to transfer over. I thought maybe 10-12...BUT...ALL 89 of my credits transferred, meaning I have 91 credits to go. So 2 years instead of 4!!! Anyway, I'm pretty excited, and just wanted to share a little piece of GOOD news Anyone have any advice for online school? going back? anything? I'm excited, but nervous. I know time management will have to be a BIG role in this, so any advice would be welcomed!

Hoorayyyyyyy!!! Great news, Amy! So excited for you as you start this journey. Awesome. I just wanted to share in your good news. My only advice would be: don't be afraid to ask for help from friends and family when you need it, "it takes a village" you know? And don't stress out on things that have to just go by the wayside as you're in school. If the house isn't perfect etc. you'll have to let some things just sliiiiiiide away.

Congrats, that's so exciting! I did all online classes too, and it was a lifesaver. Time management is huge, pace yourself throughout each week. Another thing that was super helpful for me was only taking 2-3 classes at a time. That way I could really focus on the material, so I ended up taking 2 1/2 years instead of 2. Go at your own pace and don't let the school pressure you into taking on more than you can handle! Best of luck to you sweetie!!!

Renee - I already had a feeling I would have to give up some of my "clean" tendencies. I'll let it sliiiiiiiide....til I'm done lol Irish - I can take 1 class at a time if I want to. Even if I only did 1 at a time it would still only be 2 years I believe. My admissions counselor knows all about our family/situation so she understands I don't wanna be doing 4 classes at once. Heal - yes...I figured...I can't WAIT! haha. talk about being a blonde!

OMG! SHUT UP APRYLL!!!! YEESSSSS! we totally should!
Right now our laundry room is on our main entry level, and we have a lot of toys and just crap in there. i've been thinking of putting all the toys in the living room, and putting my desk in there so i have an "office" with a door to close.

Yay Amy!
Letting go of cleaning expectations is really the biggest thing I had to change when I went back to school. I go to class one night a week and also have online obligations. I pretty much do work each night after DS is in bed and sometimes I go elsewhere if I have to get stuff done when he is awake. If you make it a priority you can do it.
