Thanks Cis! She took her last dose of benedryl today unless she starts reacting again. They are sending me info for the testing too.
Sorry Merrr even the yogurt didn't work!

They initially told me a week for the benedryl but never told me about the regular seasonal allergy meds until we were there last time and he had a dose the night before.

lil...no one in our family had asthma and guess what -- my dd has it. she also has an allergy to fish and some nuts. it really stinks!

Ugh, allergies. My DD is allergic to dairy, has been all her life (she's 6). There's an 80% chance she'll outgrow it, but she hasn't yet so I don't know what our chances are. Apparently when kids hit puberty, sometimes they'll outgrow allergies at that point. So I'm hopeful but who knows. Thankfully it's not a life-threatening allergy. She gets hives and once vomited, but hasn't had problems breathing or anything of that nature. I just want her to outgrow it so she can have pizza and ice cream with friends, that sort of thing, when she gets older. (Fingers crossed!)
