We have a bunch of food in the fridge and since DD has dance tonight, leftovers it is. There's soup, pasta & a rice dish in there and we always complain about throwing away too much food so that gives me an excuse.

It was a perfect day for football and chili with friends! I made this recipe and it was super easy and super tasty. Easy Turkey Chili 1 lb lean ground turkey 1 can (32 oz) crushed tomatoes 1 package of taco seasoning 1 can black beans 1 can kidney beans 1 (14 oz) salsa of choice 1 package frozen corn Directions: 1. In a large pot, brown ground turkey. Stir in tomatoes, taco seasoning, black beans, kidney beans, salsa and corn. 2. Heat until simmering for 20 minutes. Serve with cheese, sour cream and crushed tortilla chips if desired. Read more: www.momsofminnesota.proboards.com/thread/2500/soup?page=2&scrollTo=97935#ixzz2pYy0hMvd

Homemade vegetarian egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce for dipping. Chicken and vegetable stir fry (I bug the bagged fresh stir-fry veggies from Cub in the produce section and add some extra carrots and snow peas and water chestnuts) - we use Kikkoman stir fry sauce and add some peanuts on top. Mix of brown and white rice

Last night I made a Pepperoni Roll (basically a pizza roll) and we had that with salad and fruit, tonight will be stir fry with rice.
Torri's Pepperoni Roll Thaw a frozen bread loaf for about 3 hours Roll it out to jelly-roll pan size and place on a jelly roll pan that's been sprayed with a nonstick spray Whisk together 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon oregano Brush half of the egg mixture over the dough Layer with pepperoni and mozzarella Roll both sides up into the center (left side roll to center, right side roll in to center) Top with the remaining egg mixture Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes Serve with warmed pizza sauce or marinara for dipping
