Hi Ladies! How is everyone doing this evening? I hope you're snuggling down at home safe & sound.
I'm feeling relatively relieved that my part of the metro (southwest) is getting a lighter version of this snowstorm. So far we just have a dusting of frozen rain/snow. I can't believe the reports of a foot of snow, blech!!
Anyway -- on a brighter note, Deb, glad your DS had a fun bd today!

Overall I think he had a good birthday. Skyped with my parents, worked on a craft project he got as a gift, talked to DH's mom, had pancakes for dinner and got to pick out 4 new toys with birthday gift card/money.

Not looking forward to the drive in tomorrow.
My brother just called to talk to DS, silly man it's almost 10p and he's 6. The time change still throws him off 4 years after he moved.
We read through all the books I made for DS, I make one for each year. It was a special trip down memory lane and then ended with the book, "On the day you were born", which my parents gave him at birth.

Thanks Sharon! I love reading about what your family does too. Especially all the Jewish traditions you share.
We do try to make moments special and it is in those times I remember how blessed we are.
