With DSD getting closer and closer to walking every day, I was just wondering how old your LOs were when they started.

How do you define walking? Holding onto things or fully walking on his/her own?

I think DS was about 15 months. He's always been a little slower in gross motor skills, but was talking up a storm at his 1st birthday party.

I am totally blanking on when my 2 kiddos started walking. I know bad me I am. I should remember that kind of stuff. Good thing I didn't have more kids I really wouldn't remember then. LOL

Langston didn't walk. He started out running. I think that he was about 13 months, and it was our last class of the session at ECFE. He was not going to be left behind!

Wow, you ladies had little toddlers on the GO. My oldest DD had gross motor delays and didn't walk until she was 21 months old. :/ She never crawled, she scooted around on her butt. So when we realized there was a problem we had lots of physical therapy, had to teach her to crawl, and then had leg braces and some extra help to get her walking. The good news is that she's now 6 and you would never know that she had physical delays when she was a toddler.

Ds is a crazy man and walked the week before he turned 9 months. FULLY walking. My mom thought he would be walking before that tho. He does have the biggest feet I have ever seen tho, maybe that helped. No joke he is 2 and in a size 10. It is kinda funny and scares me a bit?!
