It was. I regretted that I had to cut my trip short but that was okay too. We now have some food basics, Bunsette got a couple sweaters, dog doesn't have to eat cat food for supper, replaced the grill pan I ruined a couple weeks ago.
A successful visit. Then we went and picked DH up from the hospital and brought him home to sleep. I plan to confiscate his phone so he really sleeps!

That man has taken care of me for 27 years. We had a few years when he was incapacitated by his headaches where I took care of him but he STILL financially supported our family with his savings. It is the very least I can do to care for him through this phase of his life.

Someone told me it'll always be 90/10. One person will always need the other, and the other will always support. It should never be half and half. Each person should go out of their way to be the best when needed. That's what I heard once anyway. I don't know if I described properly.

Exactly. Well, he's snoring in the recliner. I think I shall lie back in my recliner and take a rest as well. At least until my dryer buzzes.
