Hi ladies. I'm in need of some prayers for a family in my town whose home burned down last night at midnight. There are 5 young kids who lived in this house with their mom and dad. No body was home when the fire started and they don't know how it started yet. The family has been remodeling the house and adding onto it for the past 6 years and now it is all gone.
Thanks for your prayers.

I've been there before. This is a tough situation to face. I will certainly be praying. If your friends need to talk to someone who has been there, I'm willing to share our experiences with our fire. Just PM me and I'll give my info. It is so overwhelming to face a fire!

I heard of a story on the news about a guy who lost his home recently from a fire and a passer by saw his house and Tanya's Totes helped him and hopes to refill it and give it to someone else. If you want to read about it go under link on kstp.com.

Oh my, how devastating to come home and find your home burned down. Glad they were not home at the time of the fire, but safely away.
Prayers for them and their recovery.

Thanks everyone. I found out a little more info. Apparently everyone was home at first except one parent. They came home, saw smoke and called the fire department. The stove was on fire. They put it out and deemed the house safe but with all the smoke the family decided to go stay at grandma's house for the rest of the night. About an hour after they left, someone was driving through town and saw the house on fire again. Called the fire department. When the FD got there the house was engulfed in flames. The house is still standing but the roof is caved in and the North and East walls are completely charred and need to be knocked down. They lost everything besides the clothes and jackets they were wearing when they left the house. It is very sad, and the worst part is there are people that think the dad did this on purpose. He's been in quiet a bit of trouble in the recent past, but why in the world would someone burn their house down especially right before Christmas. There is an event set up on Facebook, Christmas Drive for the Misgen's, for people interested in donating to this family.
Thanks for all your prayers.

How sad if the dad set the house on fire on purpose. Now my heart breaks to read your response.
