I know that money is tight for many people especially around this time of year. I'm not sure how many people have heard of this so I's either reminding people or informing them about it. There is no income guidelines and anyone can use this. Food are bought in huge quantities and therefore the more people buying the more people they can serve. About 20 sites in the metro area have pick-up sites. In the specific day (available on the website) within a 2 hour span, people can go in and buy pre-arranged packs of food-- produce (fresh) and frozen meat, (maybe veggie). It is about half off usual prices. You can see what is in the packs when you get there and decide at that time, which if any packs you want to get. google Fare for all mn and it should get you to the site. It is run through the emergency foodshelf- but no income guidlelines and you are not taking it from someone who may need it more. I'm not sure if there are any dates left in December, but I know in Jan--it will be going at all sites again. Hope this is helpful info for someone
