FIL is unofficially retiring next Friday! WAHOO!! He is using up his vacation before putting in his retirement notice, so that is why it's unofficial.  Anyways, we are all getting together that night (just the 7 of us) for our Christmas celebration and we want to do something fun for him. I'll probably make him a cake, but got any good ideas for some fun retirement presents? Us kids are thinking of throwing a big party this spring when it is official, so just looking for a small family celebration next week. Thanks! |

Go to one of those party stores....they have tons of fun ideas....some I'm sure you can make your own. I have seen canes with big mirrors and pill boxes and other things on it but that is the only thing I can think of right now.
