I knew all of those except the one about PG women.
Even though you don't have to switch up shampoo brands I still always buy a different brand once mine is gone. I like trying new scents!

It does say however that you shouldn't color hair in the 1st trimester...
the studies weren't conclusive--that doesn't mean they are wrong though. You should also be using mostly natural hair dye.
The bigger reason not to color hair when pregnant is that the colors don't turn out as well. I was told that by hairdressers --due to the hormones or what not I guess.
Pregnancy can also change the color and texture of your hair. Mine got darker after kids and less curly.

I have a cosmo degree so I know what I am talking about. Very rarely does a color not turn out when you are PG. I have never seen it happen or rarely heard about it. The color I use and work with is all natural plant based product. I just find it funny when PG women complain they cannot color their hair while PG, well go to a decent salon and you should not have a problem. I also did't know I needed to follow up on stats and most of these I was taught and studied for 11 months.

I knew all of them....I still colored my hair while pg (at an Aveda Salon) - I don't anymore because I spend my $$ on DS's daycare, swimming lessons, toys, clothes, etc....so it should say that you should get your hair colored when pg b/c that is the last time you can afford it!
