DH finally has a new job and I've had it up to here with mine. I know it's a little risky putting this out there on the world wide web but I also know that networking is THE best way to get a foot in the door of a new employer. That's where you ladies come in!
I am seeking a new career and have vast experience as an office coordinator and an administrative assistant. I would very much like to be in a management position such as an office manager or an executive assistant. Ideally it would be in St. Paul but I have a car and will commute if it's a good match. Any leads you know of?
PLEASE don't put anything on Facebook about my new job hunt. I have several current coworkers as friends on there and I do not want to be out of a job because I'm in search of a more fulfilling one. TIA!

check out all the local colleges for office manager/secreterial jobs.... that's what my mom did (a thousand years ago) and my brother and I ended up going to jr. college for free!

Sorry hun I really don't have an leads for you but I will keep my ear out. I do want to wish you the best of luck though! I know you haven't been happy in your job and it takes a lot of courage (in my opinion cause changing jobs freaks me out) to jump careers but you are an amazing person and I have no doubt you will find something you really like!

Well, she didn't really say. She directed me to www.chamilia.com and said to go into About Chamilia > Careers. They are always accepting applications. Mention my name!

Thank you ladies! Apryll - I looked at their postings tonight and possible careers look like they'd be lateral moves I'll keep my eyes on it though; let me know if you catch wind of something! LC - Nothing posted online for MN Vic - You're absolutely right. I'm not comfortable leaving a full-time job in the hosp of a temp to hire but please keep your ears open

Merr - Rimage.com sometimes has some openings. It's where I work. They have great benefits and great people, including me I'm not sure what's open now, but it's worth a peek every now and then. If you apply for anything, mention me
