DD3 is flat out refusing a bottle of BM or formula. She won't take one from anyone. She has only taken 4 in the last 5 months. Did I start too late? I bought some sippy cups to try. I might as well start her on those since she's getting closer to 6 months. I'm also going to try and pump a feeding to give to her asap to see if that makes a difference too.
I'm also going to start her on cereal.(NOT in her bottle) I just looked back at DD1 and DD2's baby books and by this time(5 months) they had both already been through fruits! I wanted to keep her on the same timeline.
I need her to start sleeping through the night soon!!!!!

Such a stinker. Guess I'd try sippy cups or even just a little glass to tip milk into her mouth. Maybe someone will be able to get enough into her to help her survive if Mama needs to be gone for a bit.

Thanks Vic! I wouldn't say they are complete but I do have a first year calendar for each of them that was completed! It's quite comical how things change from year to year as to when to start them on solids though! I was thinking the same thing Bunsy. Or DH can just use his Jedi mind tricks to get her to eat, LOL!

Lil, I totally feel your pain. Ds1 never took a bottle. It sucked! He was basically attached to me for 14 months. We did start him on a sippy and solids pretty early so I could leave occasionally and know he wasn't going to starve.
Ds2 we started on the bottle right away to hopefully avoid the same problem. He will take a bottle, but will only drink an ounce or two and gets hungry again right away. Unfortunately he our pediatrician has said to wait in solids with him since it appears he may have some allergy issues. We'll be getting him tested for allergies after his 6 month appointment.
Good luck!

Thanks Beth! At her 4 month check up our Dr wanted me to wait until after her 6 month check up but I figure I have done this twice already I know what's best for her. My goal is to get her sleeping schedule swapped while DH is home for break!
Good Luck with the allergy tests!!!

WOOT WOOT she took a sippy from me. I think she likes that it was flat like her nuk.
She also LOVED the cereal. She kept trying to take the spoon away from me and get it back in her mouth.

awesome!! If you ever need to try a bottle again.. the Gerber stages bottles are awesome.. different nipple from the rest. They are pretty cheap, dont leak and ended up being the only ones P would really use!
