Where do you eat out when you want to go to a little-bit-"nicer," not-fast-food restaurant with your kids? We RARELY eat out, but I'd love to try some medium-range non-chain restaurants. We need some ideas that are nicer than Chipotle and Noodles & Co ... As much as I enjoy their food, I'd love something a little more unique and "special" but not overly expensive or fancy. Thanks!

It is a chain, but we like Ruby Tuesdays for something one step up from Noodles (Which we also love). The salad bar is great and kids can get it with their meal too. My son loves to go get his little salad and he eats healthier there than he would at many restaurants.
I don't remember where you are, but we also love Little Sechzwan in St. Paul. They have wonderful, authentic Chinese food, and include some very kid friendly options.

Broadway Pizza is great! There are tons of locations around the metro, a train kids can watch going around, excellent food, and definitely kid friendly. We love going there!

We have taken the boys to Olive Garden, Applebeas, TGIFridays, anywhere really they have always done pretty well at restaurants so we don't mind taking them with us.

My girls like Chilis or Don Pablos because of the chip and salsa!

Our favorites are Spaghetti factory, Red Robin, Acapulco. We are pretty lucky Ds doesnt really act out eating. We pack a "restaurant bag" that he only gets in restaurants, so that keeps him entertained.
