We used to go all out but now we do more for the kiddos. Vday is 365 days a year for us! For the kids we usually do heart shaped meals, pink milk and a small treat/gift.

Uhhhh didn't Christmas just get over with? LOL
We usually buy the boys a few little treats from the store and DH and I started dating about four days after Vday so we usually celebrate together and exchange gifts (usuallys something small) and will go out to dinner and a movie.

I've always hated V-day. It was always a reminder that I was boyfriendless and "unloved." It always depressed my in a horrible way. Even now that I'm married, V-day is just another day. My birthday is two days before and I rather focus on that. I hate the commercialism of it.

V-day sounds too close to VD for me. I keep thinking you all have some disease!

LOL Sharon
Lots of near V-day birthdays wow --that is why we do all the celebrating. The day is a great memory of waiting for DD for us. She is a special gift and it feels like the world is celebrating her arrival (okay I will take off the rose colored glasses now--LOL)

We usually go out the Friday of V-day & give gifts of some kind to the kids, dh. Usually we give the kids a stuffed animal, a candy they like though this year I am thinking of a big bag of M & M's that the whole family likes, a game for the family to play together.

I saw all of the V Day stuff out at Target today and was like, "Eeeek! It'll be February soon!" Ah well. My DH and I will try to have a date night the weekend before or after, and maybe make a special meal or dessert the night of. We exchange cards but not gifts. It's pretty simple and low-key ... and that's fine with me!!
