Hello: My name is Kayla and I became a Mom at 19 and I'm currently 21 and I have a 15 month old son named Weston!!!! we are wanting to meet new moms that have kids his age and are close to my age :)

Hi Kayla! I'm no longer a "teen mom" I guess, but I was when I had my DD. I was 16 when I got pregnant, 17 when I had her, and she is now 6 1/2 year old, and I'm just old. lol

Welcome, Kayla!!! I had my first DS1 when I was 19, too. Now he's 9. Scary...lol.... I have another son who is 3. We are all young at heart though! |

Hi I was 19 when I had my first and I had no one. We are so lucky to have a place to meet moms. My ds is now 13. I have 2 dd's who are 6 and 3. I meet a lot more moms I have things in common with my DD's ages. I don't have any friends who are 32 with a 13 year old. Most of his friends parents are in their late 40's with older kids. Let me know if there is anything you need, because I went through a lot to get where I am!!

I'm hardly a teen mom anymore either, but I was 16 when I had my first child. My daughter is now 30 and has 2 kids of her own! So I am now enjoying being a young grandma!
I also have a 10 year old, so I had kids at both ends of the age scale!
I imagine things are much different for young parents today than they were 30 years ago. I was pressured to go to a school that was specifically for "girls like me" and had fingers pointed at me and comments made as if I wasn't there. It was tough, but I believed in taking responsibility for my actions and have many times over proved all the Negative Nellies wrong!

I was also 19 when I had my girl who is now 13. My boy is 10 yrs old. Nice to have a teen area. I tried cafe mom forum but it seems so large and overwhelming to me. This is much nicer.

Welcome to MoMs! I was also a teen mom. Had my oldest when I was 19. He is now 11yrs & my youngest is now 8yrs. I know how tough it is to find moms your age and hope you are able to meet up with someone great!

Welcome Kayla!! I'm just an oldie. My mom was 19 when she had me, and I really enjoyed having a younger mom.
