How do you have your carseats arranged in the car? Solveig has her forward facing Britax that is a bit big. Baby will have his Chicco Keyfit 30 that fits best in the middle. So, is there a side that is 'better' to put Solveig on? Just wondering how you have your kiddos arranged! PS.. I drive an '11 Camry.

I do not think there is really a "better" side, more what is easier for you. If you do not need to help her at all while she is in her seat then she could probably sit on the passenger side, if you have to hand her things to keep her occupied or for whatever reason it would be easier for you to hand it to her while she is behind you rather then the infant seat being in the way to hand it to her.
Do both carseats fit when the infant seat is in the middle?
The nice thing about having the carseats next to each other is that Solveig will be able to help the baby when you are driving.

I thought the middle was best, then the passenger side, then the driver side. No idea why I think this, but I remember hearing it at one point. Maybe it is because you are move likely to drive with other cars next to you on the driver's side?

When we just had the two girls it was baby in the middle and the other behind the driver seat. With the three I have youngest in the middle, middle girl behind the driver and oldest behind the passenger. Our arrangement is out of safety and convienience- DD1 can buckle herself so she is on the passenger side where I don't (usually) need to go around to help her and can concentrate on the other two.

It was easier for me to get to DD1 when she was put on the drivers side since I'm usually in the passenger seat! Our car is kind of small so it's harder to turn around and help a kid out if needed.

I am with Cissy on this one. Put S on the passenger side so you can hand her things if need be and put baby next to her so she can hand him things if she can, I know dd1 is getting better but still struggles a bit to do this. Though my other thought is, are you intending to use the seat belts to secure the seats or the latch system? I am thinking that you may not be able to have them side by side using the latch. In order to fit all 3 kids in my '10 Camry I had to put dd1 in the middle and the infants on the outside. I am not able to use the latch system or they would not all 3 fit.

I'm thinking of putting her on the passenger side so, like you said, I can hand her things, etc. Her seat will probably use the Latch on the side and the baby will have a regular seatbelt in his base. I can get a tighter fit with the infant base and a seatbelt rather than the Latch, and the Latch is only on the sides in my car. HTANKS!
