I'm completely happy with my marriage, but I too have admittedly looked up an ex here and there. Like the ladies above, I'm just curious.  I have absolutely NO desire to re-connect with any of them. I'm FB friends with a couple of ex-boyfriends, and my DH is friends with a couple of his exes. I honestly don't mind one iota because I get it. It's kind of fun to keep in touch with people who "knew you when" -- and it reminds you of that life stage (even if you have no desire to be back in that 20-[or whatever age] something craziness!!) |

I don't think it is a woman thing since my ex-bf (we dated in high school) looked me up after 17 years and we have been dating for 3 years since. I think there will always be that curiousity on both sides to see where others are.
