It is nice to have a nurse at my childs school who calls whenever my kid gets hurt. First time, squished fingers in a chair in class, next time scrapped up his face at recess and now a bloody tooth. He has toughed it out every time and has not needed to be picked up (bribery was included once).

I'm glad my nurse doesn't call every time LOL! That would drive me nuts. I only want a call when it's bad. Otherwise an email or note home would be just fine.
DD1 is too big of a worry wort about stuff. She came home yesterday with a swollen finger. She said a friend fell on it in PE. She thought it was broken but alas it was not. Last year she scrapped up her knee really bad and thought she was going to die cuz it was bleeding so bad. The nurse had to call me so I could talk to her and calm her down. The nurse let me know she wasn't sure if she got all the gravel out and sure enough we got out a few more pieces in the tub that night.

It is nice to know for me. He tends not to tell anyone, they notice his face bright red or heard him cry when he scrapped up his face. He tends to have more seizures when he gets hurt and is in pain.
