I have heard that when you go off the pill you have a higher chance of becoming pregnant!

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage - I had one a few years ago at 9 weeks. I was able to get pregnant a month later though and had a healthy baby girl! I actually had sex with my hubby every single day from the end of my period (1st one after the miscarriage) to when I took the test and that seemed to work. It was nice for DH too since after I got pregnant I was too sick to have sex for months!

I need the opposite of NOT getting knocked up for the next year with my surgery. Dr says I need to have 2 forms of birth control up to 6 months after surgery. I do not believe in birth control for myself as a married women. I will NOT be doing any of these lol!

Sex? Hmmm. Never worked for us. Two of my closest het friends both followed the advice in a book called Taking Charge Of Your Fertility and got pregnant right away.

My best recommendation if you know that you can get pregnant without the help of fertility treatments is to try to have as much fun as possible in the process and worry less.
When DH & I were wanting a baby we had a lot of fun and were really close as we were having sex regularly. When we couldn't get pregnant and were constantly taking tests, going to doctors, being told when to and when not to have sex, taking fertility drugs etc, it became miserable. I was stressed and hormonal all the time (I am normally very even keeled emotionally). As we try to decide if we try for a #2 I hope and pray it doesn't require all the work DS did.
So Prenatal vitamins, relax and have fun w/ DH!

Well...aunt flow decided to visit today. So, not pregnant, but at least I know that now and we can shoot for the moon to try and GET pregnant! Sex, every day until I know for a fact I'm knocked up! haha Actually, give DH some time to let his guys build back up. Have sex every other day. OTherwise his guys don't have enough time to build back up and they will be weak. That is a big mistake that people do! Since you got your period today, start having sex every other day in about a week. Day 7-14 are your fertile days on your cycle typically. And the word is, if you want a girl, shoot for conception prior to ovulation date. If you want a boy, shoot for conception after ovulation date. Old wives tale but it worked for us both times, not that we were trying either times, though! Good luck! I teach this stuff in my child development classes!
