While I'm not pregnant at the moment, I am trying. And at the same time I've been losing weight. Since June I've lost 32 lbs and I've got about 60 more to go. Right now I am just under the weight I was when I got pregnant with dd1. But I don't really want to have to stop losing weight due to pregnancy. I don't really restrict my diet too much, I still eat 3 meals a day and 1 snack and everything I eat is pretty much whole healthy foods and I take vitamins and stuff. I also do 20 min a day of intense aerobic activity and 15 minutes of weight training or pilates. So, if I continued with my diet and exercise, do you think it could put a baby or me in jeopardy?

I think that as long as you keep up with what your doing your body will be use to it and no.harm will be done! Just make sure to discuss it with your doctor. There are pregnant mama's still out there running up until they give birth...I saw a almost 40 week pregnant mom running the Chicago marathon! She gave.birth not too long after to.a healthy happy baby'

as far as the weightloss goes, I don't think it would hurt a baby.. I'm about 8 weeks pregnant and because I can't eat or drink anything I've lost probably close to 13 pounds already... with my first, w/o exercising; because of the hyperemesis.. I lost 30ish and my doc didn't see an issue w/ it. I think if you are healthy, moderately exercising (check w/ doc though on how much you should be doing)and losing weight, it's fine.

I'm 19 weeks and still a few pounds below pre pregnancy weight bc of hyperemesis as well. My dr is showing some concern, but i think if you just ask your dr all will be fine. As long as you are eating well, I don't see the problem
