My dad was the same way. Once all the kids had come to see him, and he told them their goodbyes he went peacefully in his sleep. He knew it was time, so did we.

But - I think on to a less sadening subject...it's ALMOST FRIDAY! HOORAY! Anyone have big plans for the weekend? Not sure what we'll be doing, DH works and we'll probably be getting DSD today or tmrw. I feel like something is supposed to be happening but can't put my finger on it.

Tomorrow night I have a dinner with the President of the University of Minnesota, so I am kinda nervous and have no idea what I am going to wear but I am also excited! Then I am probably going to spend my weekend playing with Kendra, volunteering for Obama and hunting for the winter carnival medallion.

We get DSD whenever her mom is sick of having her. Sad. Yes. We pretty much have her every weekend, the month of December we had her well over 65% of the time. So yeah, weekends when DH works I play single mommy with both the girls!

At least YOU are pregnant. That's a good reason for weird food. I'm just an emotional eater.

I am a member of the Minnesota Student Association as well as the Minnesota Student Legislative Coalition, so that is why I was invited to this dinner. I have yet to meet him, so I am excited.

I am starting to feel like I am the only mom under the age of 30 who isn't pregnant right now, or at least isn't trying.
