Plus food allergies and such. I'm surprised that any schools do still have candy as part of their Valentine's Day stuff.

Renee our school doesn't do the candy on Valentine's b/c of all the allergies now adays. Sad, but that is the way it is.

It usually varies on what I buy....it all depends on the quantity I can get for the least amount of money! LOL They always give a card and we have done differant things like pencils, suckers, stickers, etc.
I just wish teachers would send the list home earlier so I could plan better.

I have yet to see any info about VDay stuff for my sons school. We are going to do a craft this year.

I just got the note last night about the valentines party. It didn't say if treats could be passed out, so I am going to, because my son was talking to his friends about it. I don't think any of the kids in his class have allergies. What are some good choices of candy? It seems like a dumb question, but I don't buy candy, we still have Halloween candy left over.

For our district we can't put who the card is to on it only of who it is from on it. So all we need to know is: how many is in the class.
