I made MOnkey Bread yesterday. The smell was just divine. It smells, tastes so good. Fairly easy to make. The recipe was in the recent People magazine. Next time I think I would make it for a breakfast or a brunch.
Serves 10-12 4 cans of refrigerated biscuits 2 c. sugar, divided 3 tbsp cinnamon divided 1 1/2 sticks of butter or margarine
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Combine 1 c. sugar and tbsp cinnamon in a zip top bag. 3. Cut biscuits into quarters add to bag and shake until coated. 4. Transfer biscuits to a greased 12 in. tube pan or a square pan. 5. Melt remaining butter, add remaining sugar and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Pour over biscuits and bake until biscuits are puffed and liquid is carmelized. 35-40 minutes. 6. Remove from oven and cool completely.

oooohhhh I love monkey bread!
it's super easy Irish!
spray pan with nostick spray *or butter it (yummm) one tube/can of buttermilk biscuits tear into pieces top with brown sugar and butter... bake
ok I realize I may be remembering it wrong and maybe you have to roll the pieces in the brown sugar then cover with butter and bake... or maybe add cinnamin or something...hmmm...maybe I should just let Jodi post the recipe since mine is at home...LOL!

Monkey Bread Ingredients:
4 cans refrigerated biscuits 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 1/2 sticks butter (3/4 cup) 1/2 cup white sugar 2 Tablespoons cinnamon 1/2 cup raisins (these are optional, it's great with or without them)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9-10 inch tube pan.
2. Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a medium sized plastic bag. Cut the biscuits into halves or quarters and place six to eight biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. Shake well.
3. Arrange pieces in the bottom of the greased pan. Continue layering until all the biscuit pieces are coated and in the pan. If you are using raisins, place them among the biscuit pieces as you are layering.
4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the layered biscuits.
5. Bake for 35 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Pull apart and enjoy!

NOW I want monkey bread! I have the super munchies.
I make it in a 9x13 pan--cooks faster. And I don't have a bundt pan.

My recipe is a tad different. We put 1 tsp of cinnamon in with the brown sugar and butter. Boil for 2-3 minutes. We have also put nuts in the bottom of the pan too.
Now I'm hungry for these too!!!!
