This probably isn't the right place to post this....but does anyone cook all their dinners for the week on Sundays to save time after work? I did this a few weeks ago and it was awesome but I'm running out of ideas. Seems like hot dishes are really the only things you can do. Help!

Cindy, I have never done this before for my family since I am at home. I do do it for my husband for when me and my son visit my parents. I make a large pan of lasagna that will last for at least 2 nights. Pasta salad is also a good idea. Fried rice holds up well for a couple days depending on what veggies you add. That is all I can think of, hope it helps.

Well I did make dinner, BUT the husband decided to tell the kids we could go out to eat, so I have the makings of turkey pot pie in the fridge.
I did have an AWESOME sandwich while we were out though, chicken strips, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce all on toasted bread.

We'll have leftovers --- last night I made linguine and this pasta sauce:
Brie-Basil Pasta 4-6 large tomatoes, chopped 1 cup fresh basil leaves, shredded 1 cup extra vir olive oil 1 tsp salt pepper to taste Brie cheese, no rind, cut into chunks
Basically you just chop up everything, mash it up, and leave it out at room temperature for about two hours. Serve it with hot linguine - or in the summer serve it at room temp or chilled. I make it more often in the summer when my basil plants are growing.
