I'd like to coordinate a clothing drive for a non-profit called Families Helping Each Other. You can read about them here: www.fheo.org/What I love most about FHEO is that they GIVE the items to the families in need for FREE. This is a true non-profit and every little bit helps. Please go through your closets and weed out the items that don't fit right or you just don't wear anymore and set them aside. No stains, tears, grungies, etc please. Also on FHEO's wish list are these items: - gently used or new clothing - shoes & boots - toys - games - books - baby supplies - unused personal care products - baby/kid furniture - working computers Please note they do not accept: furniture, mattresses, exercise equipment, encyclopedias, old newspapers, magazines, broken items, baby gates, cribs, baby swings, tvs and printers/faxes. Please bring any items you may have to the February MNO Bingo at Pot O'Gold in Arden Hills on Friday, February 17th. I will collect them from you at that time and then take them over to FHEO for the donation. I think it'd be great if MoMs could help out other moms (and dads and kids) in need!

Can't wait to do some cleaning out of the closets this weekend! DH already has a large garbage bag ready from going through things a couple weeks ago.

Wow that is great. I knew there was a place around that would distribute the items for free to people that needed them. We usually just drop stuff off to Goodwill and that kind of annoyed me. We have stuff at home but we are going to try to have a garage sale and earn money for things that we need for the house, ie. our microwave is broken and needs to be replaced. I will keep this place in mind though!

Thought I'd give you ladies an update! I've got two garbage bags and one box of clothing as well as two grocery bags of personal care items - THANK YOU!!! I had every intention of bringing them in this week but DH's car is back in the shop because the check engine light came on so we're back down to one car. Ick! I will let you know as soon as I get it over there.
