Thank you for asking. I am starting to get better I think. I woke up without a fever today for the first time in a week. The pain is much less. Nausea and dizziness come and go, but overall are less. I had an appetite for the first time in many days and ate dinner last night. So I think I am on the mend. I go back to the doctor tomorrow.

Aaaaaaah! I am SO frustrated. I am doing better, SO much better. My pain is minimal, my pulse ox is at 98% (Which is GREAT!) and I have been fever free since yesterday. Today when I saw my doctor she was optimistic I would be able to return to work part time at the end of this week. BUT she wanted a repeat CT scan first, since my last chest X ray (Thursday) showed my lung was worsening, not getting better. So off I went to the hospital for my CT scan, feeling happy for the first time in all this and dreaming of getting back to my kids and my life. Results: worse! The CT scan shows my lung is still worse than when they last looked! I have to believe it was still worse since Thursday and is on the upswing because I just FEEL so much better. So now my doctor says I need to rest through the weekend and not go back to work until after she sees me Monday. Ugh! I am following her orders, I don't need a speech about that. She said this is nothing to mess around with, and I trust her. She's a good doctor. I'm not upset with her. I am just SO bummed. I was counting the days. Thanks for listening.

Bummer! I am glad that you are feeling better and hope the additional rest will mean that you stay better once you get there. I know how hard it is to have to lay low and not do work or other fun things

Woo-hoo! I'm so excited! I'd do a happy dance but I'm supposed to be taking it easy - I'm dancing on the inside.
I get to go back to work tomorrow, half days this week. If all goes well I can go back full time next week!
Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. And thanks to all those who have chatted with me over the last 2 1/2 weeks as I've been home bored and miserable! You are all the best.

Thank you. I promise. My doctor was clear that when I come home from the half days I am to get into bed and nap. And I definitely do NOT want to backslide, so I am following directions.
