@@@remember -- I am not a programmer and there is in IT team but I will try and accomplish the ideas I think make sense to move the site ahead,
Do we need a page showing the admins?
I know right now it's just Lil and me and LC does limited calendar work. There are a couple more positions open. Lil and I are forming those now....once we have our five 'volunteers'. We could have a featured page...it also gives new moms a place to go when they have questions. Lil and I do have very different duties.
The other two positions may include, but aren't limited to: SEO duties and mom squad events. We'll get the specifics later...

Wish I could help! I'm not an idea person/I'm always happy with what I already have. I'm good at grunt work but not creative/idea stuff.

Fundraiser...open mommy and me picnic this spring or summer (could advertise) ...combination of the two... a park where there are grills? Bring your own grillins. Craft tables,games?

Could you have a table set up (with giveaways and cards) at local parks when they're having some big event? I know the Lions park in Elk River has multiple events a year where there are plenty of people walking through... Halloween, national night out, etc...
I'm not sure what the vendor costs are though.

The clothing drive we just did for Families Helping Each Other was promoted on their page. It didn't cost either group a dime but it was a partnership that benefited both  |

See if you can leave business cards at assorted Dr’s offices like OB/GYN, Pediatricians; Day Care centers, etc.
Share a booth with another company that is in same category, babies, kids that has items for sale or giveaways, such as at State Fair, Baby Expo’s, Farmer’s Markets (big ones in Mpls and St. Paul) and neighborhood ones, go to a different one each week.
Have a booth with business cards and maybe games to play, bean bag toss, or a wheel to spin to win a prize, drawing to sign up to win something; anything to draw attention to your booth.
See if you can get a PSA (Public Service Announcement) or article published in print and online at Star Tribune, Pioneer Press, local, neighborhood papers, and ones like Southwest Journal, Downtown Journal, MN Parent magazine; etc.
See if business card can be put up on others facebook pages; link back to MOM.

Have you looked at other sites to get ideas? There is a national network that doesnt currently have a chapter in Minnesota called the Mommies Network (www.themommiesnetwork.org) and I love their layout.
