This is a strange issue/problem that I have. I have realized since the birth of my second 16 months ago I ha e not been able to wear tampons successfully. They leak around and I have to wear a pad at all times. Is this normal? My first born was c section so I never had an issue obviously. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I didn't have a period for 10 months so I didn't notice this until recently....that's why I am asking 16 months after, haha

After having DD2 tampons bothered me a lot! They were uncomfortable and leaked more than normal. I switched to the diva cup...a million times better and so much more comfortable!

I have a diva cup and this is going to sound ridiculous but when I got it I tried it on..well in lol just make sure it fit and I never got my period and it took me 10 months to get it back so I feel like it cursed me. The same thing happened the two times I bought jumbo boxes of tampons...never got to use them because I got pregnant! Hahaha....I know how stupid it all sounds but it is true!

I cannot wear them after having babies, either.

I like OB tampons because they get wider rather than longer. Seemed less likely to leak. I also prefer the diva cup though.

I have never heard of a diva cup. What is it and where do you get them? I have been having issues with leakage, but I think that has to do with the flow level changing as I get older (I am 40 now)

www.divacup.com/Diva cup is a silicone cup with a stem that you insert and it collects the "stuff". You remove it, empty it in the toilet, rinse it out and reinsert. Can be a little messy but I don't mind my own fluids so it isn't a big deal for me.

I have never been able to wear tampons either. Before kids I just didn't bleed enough and now its so different every time. I should try the diva cup. Where can you buy it around here?

A friend of mine had the same problem after her first child and her Dr. told her its common for things inside to shift (sometimes permanently) and make using tampons difficult. She stopped alltogether.
