Verdict is in. Mortgage modification denied. We're not done fighting but today took a huge blow. Please send up prayers for strength and guidance for me and my family (and our house). Please also don't say anything on facebook for those of you who are friends with me there. I don't want "everyone" to know.
[glow=red,2,300]Wait a minute![/glow] I've spoken with the City and there's still hope!!! ;D A new program. A new contact. A renewed hope! THANK YOU, thank you, thank you for your prayers and support! Please keep them coming! We're not out of the woods yet!

I'm feeling really defeated. I've been fighting for the last YEAR for this modification and one simple phone call killed my fight. I'm lost. Depressed. Can't focus. Scared. Sad. Sick. Angry. Betrayed. Frustrated. Overwhelmed. Nauseous. Pissed. Hurt. Thank God for my husband. He is helping me keep grounded and helps bring me back in to focus. But how do you tell your child who LOVES her house that we're moving because the bank took it back? When do you tell her? Not yet... Not yet. No need for her to feel this yet. I thanked the guy who gave me the news. How's that for a bit messed up? I told him I realized he was just the messanger and I thanked him for being my consistent point of contact for the last few months on this. Told him I appreciated his follow through even though the answer wasn't what we wanted or needed. Can you imagine being in his job? Telling people that regardless of how they've tried to get back on track they're going to lose their home anyway? No thank you. At least this is a chapter in my life I can close - my livelyhood does not depend on keeping a house where his depends on him deliverying news like this day after day after day... And he did it with compassion. Not just some cold, crabby prick who could give a rats ass that your world has just been turned upside down. So I thanked him. Yeah. It's a bit messed up.

I'm so sorry... Wish you had a different outcome. Brought tears to my eyes... Yes, it was Ok to thank him for being a compassionate messenger. He may not have many people that do thank him for being compassionate, and maybe it helped both of you.
{{{HHHUUUGGGSSS}}} to you and your family.
