Hey ladies! I haven't been on much lately, I have been busy breastfeeding!!! Lol. My 3 week old is growing do fast and is super chubby, he is in 6 month clothes already!! Is this odd. The only reason I ask is ny first born never had any baby fat ( he was mostly formula fed though). Is that why my new baby is so chubby, cause he is solely breastfed? Just wondering?

I think it just depends on the child. My kids were not on the small side and I fed them, one of my daycare kids was breastfed and he is small. It is just the child. If you are worried on the size check with the doctors, but if they say your child is fine just continue what you are doing.

Nope, breast feeding does not cause overweight babies. Over feeding may, but not just the fact that it is breast milk. That being said, some babies are just bigger than others. As they get more active they slim down. I wouldn't really be too worried about it. I know LOTS of super fat babies that grew into skinny kids eventually. And vice versa! (Skinny baby, fat kid.) Congrats on your healthy baby! Enjoy this time, they grow so fast!

Many babies are chubby, once they start crawling the weight stops coming on as fast.
My son went home in size 1 diapers.

I wouldn't worry too much. My DSD was big in her clothes too. The "size" of clothes is based on an average, not what EVERY child will be. And like cake said, once they start to crawl, walk and drive you crazy they drop the weight

Each child is different. If baby is healthy and the doctor isn't concerned that's all that matters. My girls were always tall, and DD2 was a big baby so they were always "ahead" in clothing sizes. DD2 still is. She's 3 years younger than DD1 and they are only 1 clothing size apart.

yeah we were at the doctor last week and she was super happy about it. I was just wondering since he is complete opposite of his brother. Thanks for all the notes!
