So I am trying to gather some new ideas for Family Fun Nights at the boys school for next year or the year after.
What are some things your school does for Family Fun Nights?
Thanks! ;D

Have Craft table with projects families can work on together. Example of a Service Project that is good for any age child thru adults.
Decorate grocery bags for places like Meals on Wheels. Bags are used to carry the meal to person who then can be encouraged by the decorated bag. (Crayons, markers, coloring page of any object, toy, flowers, fisherman/boat, etc. they can be colored and glued onto the bag,)
Our Woman's retreat has done this as a Service Project, and really liked it and are going to do it again this year.

Thanks for the ideas! They do a bingo for books and I don't think they want to change that one.
I did see someone mention somewhere about a pj movie night in the gym and that sounded really cool.
Any other ideas for me ladies?

Do they do an Art Night? Our Art teacher heads up a huge Art Night to show off at least 2 pieces of art work from each student. There is also many make and take crafts to do.
School Family Dance. Ours has a theme every year and they encourage everyone to dress up. They also sell little trinkets. This year was Alien Dance.

I had mentioned an art show before. I like the idea of picking a theme each year and have them really think about it and make something wonderful and creative and have a little art show. I will have to mention that one again.
I love the idea of a themed party like that! That is sooo cute I will definately have to add that one to the list!

For Family Fun Night, UPDATING MY POST OF EARLIER:I found out that the agency that likes decorated bags is "Open Arms MN" (I posted earlier that I thought it was Meals on Wheels, but checked with our Women's Retreat contact and she said it's "Open Arms MN". I emailed them and this is the reply back: Hello Sue-
Thanks for your interest in this! Our clients love receiving decorated bags. We supply the brown paper bags for decorating and a sheet including basic instructions and simple rules to follow. You just need to come in and pick up said items before your event(s). Thanks,
