Ok, hopefully now you are humming the Sesame Street song like I am. Who are the people that your kids have connected with during your regular routines? Do they love the pizza delivery person? The mail carrier? The crossing guard on the way to school?

We shop at two different co-ops. At one there is a young man in produce who is Ian's buddy and always chats with him. At the other there is a lady who gives out samples who has been his buddy for several years and is usually good for an extra sample of two when he sees her He has a favorite librarian at our favorite library. He and the owner of our neighborhood ice cream shop are on a first name basis as well I have fond memories of a crossing guard that I really liked when I was a kid and i know it totally made my day when I had mentioned my birthday and the next day he had a card for me.

My girls LOVE our across the street neighbor Chuck. Everytime they see him they get excited and yell either, "Hi Chuck!" or "Hi Neighbor!" It's pretty funny and Chuck gets quite the kick out of it. =)

For me growing up I loved my bus driver, Joanne Wallheater. I always sat in front and I talked her ear off. For DD it was a waiter at a buffet. He waited on us from b4 her birth until she was 4. He doted on her.

There used to be a cashier at the Walmart we used to go to all the time that just adored my girls! She would always have little treats for them. She worked in the lawn and garden area. When we go to the Panda Garden Buffet in Andover there is one waitress there that always gives the girls extra treats when we come in too.
As far as my neighborhood and city there really isn't anyone that my girls have connected with! Our 1 neighbor is gone most of the time and we just got new neighbors on the other side.

DD1 LOVES the teacher she had for Kindergarten last year. Whenever we see her in the community, or at school events, she runs over to talk to her. The girls also like the guy at the end of the street - his name is Buzzy and I think they just like saying his name. I get a daily Buzzy update - when he walks his dog, if they see him outside, etc.

I'm loving these! So sweet to hear everyone's little worlds.
I forgot about ACTUAL neighbors. We have a couple down the street that Ian loves and they have two dogs who adore him and vice versa.

Ian's Librarian buddy invited us over for dinner, which I thought was just so sweet! The 3 of us had a lovely evening tonight with her and her husband.
