What time do you start your kids' bedtime routine?
I start between 7-7:15. Many times my kids take a long time to put jammies b/c they goof around. Here is our bedtime routine: jammies, read, snack/meds (for ds for his allergies/asthma), teeth, potty, then bed. Sometimes they are in bed by 7:50 or after. My goal every night is to have them in bed by 8:00 or b4. We read for 15-20 min. every night b/c they like to & b/c my son's school wants them too.
TIA

Bed time routines usually start around 730/45. They get their vitamin, brush their teeth, get their jammies on, read a story, get that one last drink of water, potty, & finally bed time! They are usually in bed by 8 or a little after.

Usually 5 minutes before they are in bed. Time for bed varies. DD brushes her teeth, flosses them, puts on jammies and jumps into bed. I do not read in the evening but make up a story for her from the characters she chooses or sing a short song (the story or song is often 1 min long, as I am super tired by then or just say goodnight. DH has a different routine.

We kinda start at 7, but really go at it at 7:30. They're in bed no later than 8:30 most nights.

If it's bath night (every other night or so, depending on how dirty they got that day!) we start around 7:30, if not 7:45. Then it's pajamas, brush teeth, read bedtime stories (they each pick one) and then prayers, lullabies, kisses. My goal is for them to be in bed around 8:15.

Ideally about 6:15 for a 7:00 bedtime, earlier when there is a bath involved. This allows a good 30 minutes or more for reading, even if he dawdles. But often it's not ideal and then story ends up shortened, or bedtime ends up a little later.

It depends on the night and activities, bathtime, etc.
Our goal to be in bed is between 7:45p-8p. We usually start around 7p so we have 1/2 hr for reading. If DS dawdles then he gets less books, so that is an incentive for him.

We usually start around 7pm. The goal is to have him in bed by 7:45pm because he talks, sings, plays for at least 45 minutes to an hour every night.
