Any moms in the Maplewood, Vadnais, WBL, North St Paul or surrounding... what church do you belong to? What kind of church is it? And why do you love it? Were looking for a church that fits our lifestyle and beliefs....(and has a restless soundproof room i can take ds into.....in the chapel) I used to go to a very large Bible Baptist church and after I moved here to Mn we were going to Emmanuel in Fridley but its a bit far for us now.. still looking for that large church feel...
Any recs would be awesome!! Thanks.

We LOVE Eagle Brook Church! They have 5 campuses (Woodbury, White Bear Lake, Lino Lakes, Spring Lake Park, and Blaine). It is a big church, great music, and real and relevant messages. There are 4 services at each campuses each weekend. Kids' programming is at the same time as adult worship, and there are parent/child rooms where you can take in the service as well.
Good luck with your search - if you ever want to check out Eagle Brook let me know - I'd be happy to meet you and show you around. We usually go to the 11:00 Sunday service in White Bear Lake.

I don't have recommendations for that area but would say -- definitely get a few recommendations and then visit a few to see what feels best, like it's "home" and welcoming with a message that resonates. Good luck!!

We go to church at St. Pauls UCC on Summit Ave in St. Paul (across from William Mitchell Law School). I grew up in the United Church of Christ (UCC) and this is the church my aunt and uncle and cousins attend so it makes it worth the drive. Services are on Sunday morning. They do have a crying room in the back though I have never actually been in it (DS does great in church and now is in Sunday School). They do have nursery care available and Sunday School starts at age 3 (the kids start in church and then leave part way through for Sunday School). The UCC is a more liberal protestant denomination. Our congregation is open and affirming which means we are welcoming of LGBT persons. Our church is not very big (about 100-150 in church on Sundays). Here is information about the UCC: www.ucc.org/Here is information about St. Paul's UCC: www.spucconsummit.org/If you are interested and have more questions let me know.
