I have seen this at Target and plan to buy it for gifts for Mother's Day for DS's grandmas. I wanted to buy one for our house but DS refuses to use one. This is the solution I came up with for him to display his artwork and not have it on the refrigerator (I don't like it on the fridge....it just bugged me because it felt cluttered). It is 2 dry erase/magnetic boards in frames ($9.99 each at office depot) and then I made a sign for his art "gallery". He is very proud as you can see (ignore the toys and clutter behind him) Attachments:

Looks like my livingroom too. I just ordered two of the one I posted... one for Mike to keep at his desk..one for home. I like that each frame holds 50 pics so it also gives me a place to store them.

Yes, I am sure everyone's living room looks like this...at one point approximately 4 years ago it didn't That is a good point on storage Isis, DS insists on saving everything he makes and we have a bin full of daycare and Sunday School projects not to mention ones at home.

Those are cute ideas we just don't really have anywhere good in our house to display art in our house except on the fridge. I'd like to find something else to do w/ all the art that comes home or done at home.

We are trying a new idea for displaying Ian's work - a digital picture frame. So much of his art is becoming large, or 3 dimensional, and he's creating things on the computer now too and we didn't want him printing everything b/c it's so much ink. He's also so into block structures and I taught him to photograph his structures. So, we are trying the digital picture frame. He can scan his drawings, photograph his larger paintings and 3 dimensional creations, etc and create a slide show of his work. He's pretty excited about it, so we'll see how it goes.

This is a great idea, thanks for sharing!! I have a hard time letting go of DS's artwork, so this is definitely something I'm interested in getting. As of right now, our dining room wall showcases his pieces, but we've run out of space! I need to just buy one big bin too to put everything in there...
