None. I'm not one that wants a book to tell me how to parent. I trust in my own instincts and experiences. I do enjoy hearing about different parenting styles and those interesting enough to have books written about them.

I loved and found helpful:
The Successful Child by Dr. William Sears Real Boys by Dr. William Pollack The Attachment Parenting Book by Kate Granju Einstein Never Used Flashcards by Kathy Hirsh-Pasek Helping Young Children Flourish by Aletha Solter
I don't think there is any that I follow word for word, but all were enlightening and contained a lot of helpful information.

The Ames and Ilg books about each age were really helpful too - Your One Year Old, Your Two Year Old, etc. They are dated in that they assume an affluent family of the 70's with a mom who stays home and takes care of the house and has money for sitters and a dad who works full time outside the home, but the developmental stuff still rings true.
