So this is basically a rant... A week and a half ago ds1 had the pukies and he is still sick today with diarrhea and a cold plus cough. Ds2 is also sick with a cold and cough and I am sick with a horrible sinus infection. Now today dh woke up with the pukies. What else?! I thought the tummy germs were long gone and now they are probably going to cycle through again. I don't feel good at all and am having a hard time coping with two sick kids by myself with no help at any point. Dh is locked in the bedroom and I am dreading having to go on there later to clean. He had to miss work and he is not salary based :-( I can't afford to get sick from dh either cuz he would have to miss even more work. Plus we fly out to Seattle in a week and half. Please pray everyone is healthy by then!

All you can do is drink plenty of fluids and disinfection everything everyone touched... when we had the crypto, I followed pres around with antibacterial wipes for what he touched and wet ones for his face and hands. Its a pain but it works. Praying you all get healthy quick!!

Yeah it does suck big time and I'm afraid there is no end in sight yet. How do you guys clean soft areas like a couch or chair?

We have all leather... there has to be something for fabric tho... can covers be taken off to wash? then use the febreeze fabric spray to give it that fresh smell.

Oh no. YUCK that is the WORST.
When people slowly start to get better and are able to eat, our pediatrician always recommends the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) to help ease your stomach back into eating again.
Prayers for strong immune systems going your way!!! Get well soon --

I sprayed all the soft surfaces with Lysol. I didn't soak them but sprayed it lightly. I hit every room, remote, light switch, railings, etc. Hope it passes soon!

Yeah I wasn't sure you could use Lysol on soft surfaces...now I know thanks! Yeah it is gross indeed over here. I had to collect a stool sample from ds1.... Even though we havnt been near water doc thinks he may have crypto or giardiasis since his loose stools are sooooo bad. He says secondary contact has been bad with both around here. Lovely haha.

Its def possible if you have been in contact with someone who has been to a waterpark or some who has been around someone who has and didn't know they were sick.. send out an email to see if anyone you've been around has been to Paul Bunyan or Duluth water park. We passed it and didn't know...
