Hey ladies,
I have no idea who else to ask, so I thought I would come to my fellow MoM's.
The last week or so I've been having really bad pain in my back, on the upper right side... almost to my shoulder. Last night I finally hit the breaking point. I was in so much pain, I was in tears.
I've noticed my back starts to hurt during the day at work, only in that spot. I thought it was the baby pushing on a nerve or something. She tends to sit on the right side. I make sure I get up and walk around often, and I've tried different chairs.
I called my dr and am waiting for a call back. One of the girls I spoke with this morning mentioned Gallbladder attacks. I didn't know that you tend to feel them in your right shoulder more than anywhere else. Besides my morning/all day sickness that has continued, I do not feel any pain or anything anywhere else.
So my questions... Has anyone else had Gallbladder pains while pregnant? And, if not, has anyone felt pain like this? Anything you did that helped?
I'm waiting for a call back as well, but I'm just a little anxious. Oh... It may help that I am just about 32 weeks.
Thanks ladies :-)

I started having attacks after my DD1 was 1 year old. I thought I was going to die they were so bad. Avoid super fatty foods!

Wow I didn't realize that pain from that could be in your upper back....maybe that's why I always feel pain there. Something to mention to my Dr.
Sorry I don't have any advice for you but hope you start feeling better soon.

I had gallbladder disease for seven years...noone could figure out my pain or symptoms... the pain could be on either side but mostly right... accompanied by severe vomiting. Of bile... def get it checked out asap to rule out something serious. When the gallbladder isn't functioning properly, certain foods could trigger pain. Fatty and greasy and spicy were worst for me.. and caused excess bile to be released from the liver which went to my nonfunctioning gallbladder which then cant aid in the rest of the digestion process... I realllllllly hope you feel better soon!!! You've been through so much sicky stuff already

Thanks ladies We just got done with dr appts for the day. The first at 145, followed by an emergency ultrasound. I'm passing two kidney stones, one is 7 mm, the other is 9. And they found a polyp on my gallbladder. I'm on bed rest for the weekend, and it may be extended. The pain is excruciating but I'm trying to be tough! Our dr could tell something was wrong as soon as I saw her, so I'm glad she took our concerns seriously. Thanks for the good thoughts just trying to keep my head up and remember there will be a rainbow after the storm!
