Our niece is graduating from college in May and I’m looking for gift ideas. She has a paid internship right now and already has her own apartment that is pretty much furnished. I just don’t know what kids that age are into these days!? I’d like to get her something special that she’ll have for awhile, but nothing too expensive. Ideas please!!??

Wow, good question! My son is graduating from college in May as well and I wouldn't know what to tell people either! Maybe a watch, or a bracelet? or necklace? Something that she'll know you gave her when she graduated from college.

I did a basket for one. Included things like an already filled out address book, energy drinks, chocolate, popcorn, etc.

My idea is a really nice laptop bag or work-style briefcase / professional bag she could use on job interviews.

I got a nice pen for his graduation gift last year. My sister in law got cash.

When I graduated from college I got an LLBean tote that was monogrammed (and I still use over a decade later), my aunt & uncle paid for my summer dues to the Mpls Rowing Club (because I rowed in college and was moving to the T.C.), looking back these are the two gifts I appreciated the most because they were personal and meaningful.
My brother got camping supplies which he loved.
My parents bought us luggage (maybe so we would get the hint to not move home?).
If they have a job lined up that requires a new more professional wardrobe maybe you could get a gift card to Macy's or Herberger's?
I'll let you know if I think of anything more.
