I would like some Father's Day ideas. I have one but I would like some ideas for my kids to do or get dh for a father's day gift. The idea I have for dh is: a picture copied of me & my kids. Obviously I am not made of money, but I want to do something memorable or fun. The picture I am copying I am going to copy he can put it on his desk at work.
I say memeorable b/c dh & my kids sure made yesterday mememorable b/c they had a scavenger hunt for me and handmade 3 bracelets for me and w/ clues.
TIA

How would the kids like to help clean/wash/detail his car as a surprise (with you supervising)? Dh did that for me once while I was busy inside -- I did go out and help a little too-- Also maybe a surprise trip to local park/lake for picnic?-- you could blindflod him and drive him and maybe it is a new place he hasn't seen that you checked out?
Just a few ideas--- hope they inspire something

My idea would be a "spoil daddy day." Make his favorite meals, do a favorite activity of his (bike ride, walk, go to a ball game [even a local high school or what have you], fish at a local park etc.), let him take a nap in the afternoon, listen to his favorite music ... try to fit in as many of his favorites as possible.

I like the spoil daddy kind of day. He likes to take naps on the weekend at least one of the days. He will be tired that day b/c that weekend we are going to be at my BIL's butchering chickens.

I tend to do the "best dad hands down" shirt annually (for some reason I can only find it every other year). It's only around $10 and it fits plenty of hands.

I have gone on google and found an Best dad award printed it off and bought a cheap frame to put it in. I have also made DH a coupon book in word with things like night out with the guys (no complaining from the wife), good for one back massage, etc. I also made him a scrapbook with pics of him and the boys and all four of us together and wrote a little story about him in crayon like it was the boys telling the story about their dad. I brought the boys to Home Depot and they made him a little thing to put screws and nails in.
