Any Grey's watchers out there? What did you think about Thursday's episode? (SPOILER ALERT) I was SO mad that they killed off Lexi! Grrr ... I like her and it makes me frustrated with the show that they kill off so many of their characters. On the one hand, I guess it makes the show more unpredictable, that you want to watch because no one is "safe" from being killed off or leaving. BUT ... c'mon, seriously? How many of the characters have near-death experiences, over and over and over again (Meredith with drowning, Cristina with the icicle, the hospital shooting etc.). Or end up dying (i.e. George, what's-her-name's husband, Ellis Grey, Lexi and Mer's dad, Lexi's mom perhaps?) So many that I've lost count. Who would ever work at Seattle Grace for goodness' sake, you or your loved ones are cursed and will certainly die or have a near-death trauma. It's getting ridiculous. And it's making me almost want to stop watching. Can you tell that I'm frustrated? My DH has stopped watching the show, and I'm borderline. Next season will have to be really good with character development and strong story lines and less "death and dying constantly drama" or I'm done!! Your thoughts?

I totally know what you mean I LOVED Lexi! I also understand about the constant near deaths and killing off all the characters it is getting a little ridiculous. Plus I saw on some entertainment show the director was saying just because you saw some of the characters alive at the season finale doesn't mean more of them aren't going to die. IDK maybe since they only have about one or two seasons left they are trying to end things crazy but jeez already. They keep killing off all the people I like on the show!!!!!

Ugh ... and I realize that it may have something to do with contracts and getting stars to re-sign and negotiate and all of that behind-the-scenes maneuvering, but HONESTLY. It is absolutely ridiculous. I'm THIS close to not watching the show anymore because it's getting absolutely absurd!!!

I completely understand. On that same entertainment show they mentioned the girl that does Lexi may be working on one of the directors new shows soon but that was it. I think it is mostly the show is coming to an end soon. But I agree there has been to much death and what not amongst the Drs and their family members.....I miss ER! LOL
