Do you celebrate the end of the school year with your kids? If so, what do you do? We'll probably just go out for ice cream or something. I'd like to start a fun little tradition but haven't figured out yet what would be best. Any ideas?

I like the ice cream idea. I don't usually do anything with the boys but maybe I will have to start treating them to DQ or Cold Stone for an end of the year treat! Thanks for the idea!

For DD2 who just finished her 1st year of preschool we went out to lunch and she got to have an ice cream cone. For DD1 who will finish 2nd grade we plan on letting her pick where she wants to go for dinner. She'll probably pick somewhere that also has ice cream!

We always got ice cream at the end of the school year when I was growing up. We didn't get it very often so it felt special.

We pick them up from school (partly to make sure they bring home everything!) then go out to eat somewhere they like.

never thought of doing something like this, but not a bad idea to start a fun tradition!

We go out to eat to celebrate the end of the year. I have to pick ds up every year from school b/c I have to pick up his meds they won't send them on the bus.
